Lost Form

Sometimes we say that the function of jewellery is not just adornment, it's also a matter of comunication, identitiy and lifestyle.
A piece of jewellery can be an object with a surface and a content, sometimes like a container of memories. Between the viewer, the surface and the content there is a shell, normaly not visible. We can ask ourselfs if it's the content that makes the form or the surface that makes the content or both in conjunction. Or is it the fact that it's just the shell between that is really important?

The jewellery in the serie Lost Form are both jewellery and corpus. They're made from broken objects no longer in use. The objects are gone but if you look beyond several different layers of vacum and casted transformed shells you can find the memories, but remember, it's you, as the viewer, who decide what you really see.
