You can go through it fast, but we hope you will take your time to find out what’s in there. It will take about 30 minutes. Since 2018, the group has travelled to different areas in the Nordic countries to study origins in arts and crafts and to meet artists and craft makers to share knowledge. The intention has been to examine traditional and contemporary making, to research materials and techniques that have been commonly used in traditional crafts as well as in contemporary arts and culture, especially where the Nordic countries share and differ historically and culturally. The project is support by the Nordic Culture Foundation, The Danish Arts Foundation and Helge Ax:son Jonson Stiftelse.

VIRTUAL SHOWS

KARIN ROY ANDERSSON and SOFIA BJÖRKMAN have collaborated in making virtual shows. Here we are outside The Parliament House in Sweden that is located at Helgeandsholmen in the old town district of central Stockholm. It might look like we're protesting something, but this time we're here to thank Swedish Arts Council for the support that made it possible to learn 360 and do virtual shows. The council is a government authority whose principal task is to implement national cultural policy determined by the Parliament. Here we demonstrate our collaborative project, and you are welcome to take part. The technology is new to us, and as a start we have experimentet with our own work.
